Israel J. Morejon is Chief Technology Officer at enVerid Systems where he is leading the development effort to revolutionize energy efficiency and air quality technology. Mr. Morejon has had a distinguished career in the military, medical, consumer, industrial and R&D fields. He began his career designing missile guidance and control systems. Then, he went on to found engineering companies where he designed digital video encoding and compression solutions, dimming controllers for lighting, hearing aids, kidney dialysis systems, acute care patient monitoring products, robots, and the core waveguide technology for speed guns. He pioneered last mile technology and optical tomography for cancer systems. Later, he developed an LED Rear Projection TV, LED edge emitting LCD Back Light and Nanoprojectors. A prolific innovator, Mr. Morejon has twenty-seven patents granted in many discipline areas including nanotechnology. He serves on the University of South Florida Research Foundation Board, where he received a bachelor of science in electrical engineering, and is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
